Activities in this environment, involve a number of risks and consequences. Picos Guides will inform you of such risks and ask for your consent, ensuring that you fully understand and assume all risks arising from acts contrary to the guide’s instructions or by improper use of the material. Picos Guides declines all responsibility for any damages occurring as a result of improper use of the materials.

In compliance with the provisions of Law 15/1999, December 13th Protection of Personal Data, we inform you that the personal data you provide will become part of a file owned by Picos Guides, in order to provide the services resulting from this contractual relationship and inform future activities. TERMS AND CONDITIONS

 1.- All services offered on this website are taught by certified mountain guides, members of AEGM(Spanish mountain guides association), with expertise in the formation and conduct of activities in high mountain.

2.- The contract and responsibility affects only the direct work of Picos Guides and the organization of the activity.

3.- Picos Guides reserves the right to cancel or modify activities for the following reasons:

  • for meteorological reasons or that may affect the safety of the group.
  • If a client / student au / a no required or agreed level, both technically and physically, could be varied, if possible, itinerary or schedule to suit the level of the participant.
  • If there is a noticeable delay in the scheduled times the activity.
  • If the customer does not meet the requirements necessary personal material agreed.

4.- Any decision taken by the guide during the development of the activity in relation to safety, must be respected by the client, otherwise, the guide may cancel the activity without the right to any refund or reimbursement of expenses / price of the activity.

5.- Reserves the right to opt out if any behaviour that endangers the safety or own group, disrespectful behaviour with the guide means or the partner / as, and therefore will not have the right to return or refund.

6.- The client / a is required to inform the guide health problems, allergies, disabilities or cardiovascular disease before hiring any activity, and agrees not to be under the influence of alcohol, drugs and / or drugs, or any other medication that might affect their ability to react.

7.- In accordance with Decree 56/2003 by which physical and sports activities are regulated in the wild, all which practice hiking or climbing should be covered by accident insurance. Hiring activity included carry accident insurance, the amount of which will be integrated into the final price of the same.

8.- Shall be the responsibility of the client transfer to the place of beginning of the activity agreed with Picos Guide, unless otherwise agreed.

9.- The loss, destruction, damage or misuse by customer / a, the material provided by Picos Guides(beyond the normal wear or force majeure) with damage borne by the customer, who must pay them after the activity the guide holder.

10.- Picos Guides is not responsible for lost or damaged personal belongings of customers.

11.- Children and under 18 years olds must be accompanied by a legal guardian, or failing that, with responsible adult person.

12- Picos Guides disclaims all liability of any other activity that the customer makes during their stay, either with another company or self-employed. To this end are worthless insurance company.

13-  The participant consents to Picos Guides to use the photographs and videos taken in the course of the activities for purely professional or advertising use.

14.- All information contained on our website is merely informative. Not being convenient use / utilization to carry out these activities on their own. Bear in mind that people with proven experience should conduct these sports under the supervision of a professional or.

SUBSCRIPTION

1.- The reservation of the activity will be made by bank transfer Picos Guides (2048 2062 95 3000204547) of an amount to be agreed depending on the activity. Transfer will be indicated in the customer’s name, the activity is contracted and the expected completion date.

2.- 100% of the total cost of the activity should be paid to guide operator before the start of the contract activity.

3.- The prices of the activities are in Euros per person and include direct services only guide holder. Unless otherwise expressed literally, the hiring of external services and their guide (hotels, shelters, meals, transportation, cable cars…) will be charged to the customer / a, Picos Guides can make managing them.

4.- The rates on this website in the form from: € X. They refer to the approximate cost of each activity, which vary depending on the number of participants, the quality of accommodation, technical level and duration of the activity, etc. Consult the exact prices of specific activities.

5.- The price of the activity

Will be included unless otherwise indicated, the collective safety equipment will be provided by Picos Guides. The customer will be responsible for the material assigned for the development of the activity, and must pay the full amount, if through carelessness or negligence as damaged or lost.

You’re not including individual / personal material participant (crampons, ice axe, skis, boots, clothing…) the necessary personal equipment the client must provide for the development of each activity specified in each activity.

6.– If the scheduled activity is prolonged due to weather or force majeure, all caused, and his guide, costs will be borne by customers and.

CANCELLATIONS

1.- In case of cancellation of any of the services requested or contracted, the customer shall be entitled to a refund of the paid amount, but must compensate Picos Guides in the amounts indicated below:

  • If restate more than two weeks for the development of the activity shall be entitled to a refund of 100% of the anticipated amount.
  • If the cancellation is in less than two weeks and more than 7 calendar days, you will only be entitled to a refund of 50% of the booking amount.
  • If the participant/s wish to cancel the activity 7 days prior to start the reservation not be returned, unless justified by a major reason. If you have paid the full amount of activity, this point applies only above 40% of the total.
  • If for any reason the participants cancel during the development of the activity, you will be charged the full amount thereof.
  • If the customer is not present at the place, date and time indicated by the guide, or decide to cancel the activity prior to the beginning of the meeting 24h it shall involve the complete loss of activity.

2.- At the time the guide is presented in the agreed meeting point, the activity is considered started.

3.- 100% of the anticipated amount will be refunded if the guide decides to cancel the activity before starting:

  • On the weather or security reasons
  • Because it does not reach the minimum number of seats.
